  16. USEFUL COMMANDS
  17. ===============
  18.      Scroll vertically with the arrows and Page Up and  Page
  19.      Down keys.
  20.      Follow a link typing `T', linknumber, `ENTER'.
  21.      Press `F1' for a more detailed help screen.

  24. KNOTS
  25. =====
  26.      KNOTS  is  a  DOS based html browser designed  for  the
  27.      owners of low powered PCs, who wish to create WWW pages
  28.      (or Knots of a net) at home, either for their personal,
  29.      one  node intranet, or to be displayed later on a World
  30.      Wide Web server.
  31.      What  makes  KNOTS different to other DOS  browsers  is
  32.      that  it  displays  the pages graphically,  to  give  a
  33.      better idea of the final result.

  35.      You  may  use  Knots freely for 30 days  for evaluation
  36.      purposes.  If  you  are  still using  Knots  after this
  37.      period,  you  must  register  by  sending  $15  (or the
  38.      equivalent in FF or UK pounds) to:

  93. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  95.      o  Html pages cannot exceed 1800 lines.
  96.      o  No more than 400 URL links per page.
  97.      o  URLs cannot be longer than 100 characters.
  98.      o  A history of only 100 links is stored.
  99.      o  Ordered lists cannot exceed 127 items.
  100.      o  The browser cannot deal with more than 200 files in a directory.

  103. DISTRIBUTING KNOTS

  105.      o  KNOTS is shareware so there are no restrictions to the
  106.      number of personal copies you can make of it.
  107.  
  108.      o  You may freely distribute or upload KNOTS to Bulletin
  109.      Boards and FTP sites and are encouraged to do so. Please
  110.      leave  the  program in its original zipped  form,  named
  111.      KNOT1_3E.ZIP. You may not modify KNOTS in any way.

  113.      o  If you would like to make money distributing KNOTS, 
  114.      for example by selling a shareware disk that includes this
  115.      program,  please contact the author,  Nick Gray for his
  116.      permission first.

  122.      supported by KNOTS are bug-free, and that KNOTS  reacts
  123.      as similarly as possible to other popular navigators.

  128.      do not use KNOTS.

  135.      New  versions of KNOTS are likely to be released in the
  136.      near  future  to  encompass a  larger  amount  of  html
  137.      features.  Later versions will also aim to improve  the
  138.      speed  and  efficiency  of  the  browser  on  our  slow
  139.      antiquities.

  144.      o  Handling of html justification mark-ups - <center>, <right>
  145.      o  Handling of html anchors within a file <a href="FileName#Label">

  147.      o  A DOS shell and the possibility to invoke an external
  148.      editor from within KNOTS to make html development faster.
  149.      o  The possibilty to invoke external viewers for certain file types.
